EnergyPrint Recognized in ENERGY STAR National Building Competition

ENERGY STAR Battle of the BuildingsEnergyPrint was recognized by the EPA in the 2015 ENERGY STAR® National Building Competition. The “Powered by EnergyPrint” team improved energy efficiency by more than 8 percent, and saved an estimated $479,500 over the course of the competition. EnergyPrint was ranked as #11 for energy reduction in the national competition, which included more than 6,500 buildings and 125 teams.

EnergyPrint teamed up with their network of energy solution providers and customers to form a team of 38 diverse buildings of schools, offices, churches and more. All team member buildings used the EnergyPrint utility dashboard to track their savings and provide valuable insights on energy performance.

Entering the ENERGY STAR competition sparked a new interest in saving energy across all the buildings on the “Powered by EnergyPrint” team. Each team member building made small tweaks specific to its respective usage patterns and occupancy needs. Altogether, those small changes added up to significant cost savings.
